Mercedes-Benz C107 series
1971 – 1981
For the first time, a Mercedes-Benz coupe was built on the platform of a roadster, instead of the usual platform ‘W’ for ‘wagen’ of passenger cars. Compared to the R107, the C107 series has a slightly longer wheelbase to make room for the extra seats at the rear. Mercedes-Benz C107 was the brand’s first sports coupe.
